Station House – CLOSED

My wife and I visited the Station House for the first time with a company function recently. This was one of the worse places we have visited to date.

My wife ordered the Chicken Piccata with the salad bar. She compared the cold chicken plate to a plain floured piece of chicken that tasted like someone poured cream of chicken from a can over it. She did like the salad bar.

I ordered the Roast Prime Rib Of Beef which looked as if it had never been cooked. None of the fat had rendered at all and I couldn’t even cut the fat away from the meat. The beef was so FULL of gristle that I couldn’t cut through it. My baked potato was so hard that it exploded in pieces all over the place when I squeezed it open.

Another table came up and told me they were very disappointed with their Roast Prime Rib Of Beef as well.

The other bad part of our night was that when we arrived we placed our drink orders which promptly arrived but it took 61 minutes to get a refill.. I’m a very understanding person but our waitress was out of sight most of the time or standing up on the stage talking.

This gets me to the next part which we really loved but hated at the same time. The Live entertainment was great and very fun but I could not even talk to my wife who was only inches from me. The music is SO LOUD.

I’m sure we will try them again as we give everyone second chances but for a first time visit it was a poor poor experience.
